Attending a wedding show? Here’s how to prepare

June 10, 2020

The Brides & Bubbly wedding show is on the horizon, so we wanted to pass on a few tips today for attending your next wedding show (whether virtually or in person).

Check out the vendor list in advance.
Need specific vendors? Check out the list in advance and make a game plan complete with which vendors you definitely want to talk to. Some wedding shows are huge, so mapping the floor plan in advance is smart to ensure you don’t miss anyone you want to speak with or meet in person.

Think about your budget and be prepared to talk numbers.
A lot of vendors will do bookings on site at wedding shows, and some even offer discounts for booking within a short period of time after the show is over. Go over your budget for each vendor beforehand so that you can put down some deposits should you meet someone you want to hire!

Take pictures!
Most wedding shows will have lots of decor inspiration and samples. Bring your phone and snap lots of pictures so that you can refer back to them later.

Ask questions.
Wedding shows are the perfect place to get all of your questions answered, and often times the owner of the company will be present. Compile a list of questions in advance so you can remember to ask them during the show.

Grab business cards from favorites.
Even if you aren’t ready to book, grabbing a business card or flyer from vendors that interest you is a great way to start looking at your options! It makes it easy to reach out once you decide to book, too.

Have more questions? Send us a message! We hope to see you this weekend at Brides & Bubbly – June 14, 2020, from 2 to 8 p.m. at The LedgeCrest Reserve!
