Bridal Advice: Walk Away

August 2, 2016

Every bride will get to this stage at some point in the planning process. That point where you have too many well intentioned family & friends giving you advice on how to do things combined with the fact that if you have to make one more decision or answer one more question you might just explode. We understand the struggle.

Our best advice is to just walk away…literally. Sometimes you just need to leave, go for a walk, go to the spa, turn off your cell phone, and step away from all the voices for a little while. It’s ok to take an afternoon off and do something for yourself. You’ll come back refreshed & a clearer headed!

Here’s a list in case you need some inspiration on some helpful de-stressing ideas 🙂

  • Go for a walk
  • Spend the afternoon at the beach or by a lake
  • Read a book
  • Go to the spa
  • Go see a movie
  • Get some ice cream
  • Try a new workout class
  • Get a mani/pedi
  • Take a drive in the country
  • Go for a bike ride
  • Have your favorite wine & listen to music
  • Light some candles & take a bath
  • Enjoy a hobby that you haven’t done in a long time
