Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate our heritage and what we have been blessed with.
As a mom, a friend, a daughter, a business owner, a planner, and a boss to my girls I have taken on a lot of roles in past years. I have always thrown myself into every part of business. I haven’t realized what a tole it took on my family and people around me to have me so engulfed in growing the business I dreamt of.
Midpoint this year I decided I needed to slow down and start to appreciate and care for the little things in life. The things that success and pumping out amazing events and money can’t fulfill. I have taken a step back and spent more time with my kids, family and friends than I ever have before. I started to notice how the clouds change with cold weather, I have made more meals than ever before at home, I have rearranged furniture in my house more than ever to make it more of a home that reflects me and my kids.
We are still focusing on events at sash&bow and are creating magic for next year – but we have taken on much less and given that focus to less clients to create truly personalized weddings.
I am thankful for amazing clients, amazing trust in the work we do. I am thankful for everyone that has been down the road with us for our events and all of my family and friends. We will continue to grow and strive to be the best we can be!
Cheers!
