Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, in partnership with the Green Bay Packers, held its 26th Annual Green & Gold Gala on the evening of Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Lambeau Field Atrium in Green Bay and the staff of sash&bow was thrilled to be a part of this FABULOUS event. This year’s event raised record proceeds of $240,097, which will be used to fund Family Services programs that keep homeless youth safe, provide a healing place for abused children, and help high-risk families with young children succeed.
The event was attended by 570 guests, including 33 Packer greats -Jerry Kramer (1958-68), Donny Anderson (1966-71), Lynn Dickey(1976-77, 79-85), Paul Coffman (1978-85) and LeRoy Butler (1990-01), to name a few. (Click here for a complete list of alumni in attendance at the event.)
Guests enjoyed fine food, a silent and live auction, and raffles, along with a live Alumni Panel Discussion, moderated by Larry McCarren. A brief program featured the work and mission of Family Services, while also honoring Susanne Lumsden and Schreiber Foods for their contributions to kids and families in our communities. During the program an agency video was also presented, sharing the stories of the children and families we serve and the life-changing impact those services have for families in our community.
