CASA Presents 2014!

April 8, 2014

The staff of sash&bow is thrilled to be involved with CASA Brown County and their CASA Presents this weekend.

CASA of Brown County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that recruits, screens, and trains everyday citizens from the community to be the voice of abused and neglected children in the courtroom, seeking to ensure them a safe and permanent home.

Often referred to as the “eyes and ears of the court,” CASA volunteer Advocates are assigned by juvenile judges to advocate exclusively on behalf of a single child or sibling group. They conduct weekly, face-to-face visits with their child (or children), make independent, objective observations about the child’s safety and well-being, and submit a written summary report to the appointing judge each month to help that judge make decisions about the child’s permanent placement. Most importantly, CASA volunteer Advocates are often the only consistent, positive adult in the lives of abused and neglected children during a time of chaos, confusion, and hurt.

Save the date for this Saturday,  April 11th, 2014 for the third annual fundraiser CASA Presents 2014. This year Bond, James Bond will be on the most important mission of raising funds for the neglected and abused children of Brown County. What will your reward be? With each ticket purchase you will have a chance to win a trip for two to London England with airfare, 5 night stay and hop on / off double decker bus for a Bond adventure of your own, courtesy of Chambers Travel.

This unique, elegant event calls for your classiest duds—so break out your ice and tuxedos and join sash&bow at this wonderful event! Cheers!
